CULTURAL AND HISTORICAL MEETING BETWEEN ITALY AND INDIA

Dopo cinque incontri pomeridiane con gli alunni partecipanti, l'incontro via Skype si è svolto in due giornate 13 e 15 gennaio 2020.

Obiettivo: incontro di diverse culture attraverso la conoscenza dei principali monumenti dei due stati partecipanti. Si è voluto favorire la conoscenza di una cultura usando un registro linguistico diverso dall' italiano. La lingua veicolare è stata l'inglese. Questo progetto ha portato i nostri alunni ad esprimersi in lingua inglese, in modo fluido su contenuti artistici culturali del nostro paese.

Activity 1 :

Scrap Book / Picture Book: 

Students of both the schools will collect and paste photographs of monuments of their respective countries and will write in very brief about the main architectural features and Historical significance of those moments.

We can limit the number of monuments up to 10, if your students wish they could paste more.

Later, once we ll receive the photographs of your scrapbook, then we will do the comparison of monuments of the both the countries and will share that presentation with you.

We have one eminent historian in our city who is quiet knowledgeable in History of Italy.

We ll take his inputs as well and will share with you.

After finishing this presentation, students of both the school will attempt a common small questionnaire to evaluate the learning outcome.

Activity 2

Visit to nearest historical monument, Sharing photographs and write-ups based on the same.

Activity 3

Collage Making:

The students of both the partner school will collect pictures of monuments of their respective countries and will make picture collage.

This can have as many monuments as you wish.

Purposes is to know about the monuments of both the countries.

Activity 4

Post Card Exchange:

The students of both the partner schools will send post cards with picture of monuments on them.

They can be handmade.
